The crock pot it one of the best kitchen tools. You put some meat in it top with some fluid and in a few hours you have amazing food. You don’t have to worry about checking on it, it won’t burn. It’s foolproof.  So it is no wonder why I like to use the crock pot to save time and effort in the kitchen.


1 Organic Chicken Breast (I am using Mary’s Farm here)

2 Cups Organic Mixed Greens 

1 Tomato (diced)

2 tbsp Pine Nuts

1/2 tbsp Hemp Seeds

1/2 tbsp Ground Flax Seeds (easily absorbed)

1 tbsp Organic Olive Oil

Salt and Pepper to taste


Put the chicken in the slow cooker with a little apple cider vinegar (1 tbsp should do) and cover with chicken stock and some black peppercorns.  Cook for around 1 hour or so on high. When the chicken is done, it will pull apart easily. Pull it apart and add it with some of the juice on top of your greens. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix around. Enjoy your nutritious and delicious meal!
